Sterling Needs: This Week’s Winner
This week’s community suggestion is a big one…
A Costco located right on the corner of Ballpark & Main.
Many residents have mentioned how convenient it would be to have a nearby bulk shopping option—saving trips out of town and bringing more variety and value right here to Sterling. That location could make it easily accessible and a strong addition to the area.
What do you think—would a Costco be a good fit for Sterling? Let us know your thoughts!
Sterling is known as the “Queen City of the Plains.”
The nickname reflects its role as a central hub for agriculture, business, and community life in northeastern Colorado, especially as irrigation helped transform the area into productive farmland in the early 1900s.
